A Little Bit About Me
I am white British. I have never been married and I have no children but I long to have that one man in my life who is my best friend and my guardian angel. I long to be loved despite my flaws: maybe I am not Muslim enough for you and I apologise for my unorthodox conduct - I am a product of my culture! I have an upbringing in the church combined with a love of Islam which I owe to a zany Catholic teacher who introduced it to me at the age of 12. Since then I've been hooked and have studied it up to university level. My passion for the faith has fuelled visits to Palestine, Oman, Morocco and Turkey. I recently spent two years living and working in Morocco. It was a struggle and a blessing for me every day! I am a very confident woman and work as an advocate for society's most vulnerable people. I hate injustice and I fear nothing. I have recently graduated from the Open University and I have huge ambitions. I say Alhamdulilah for my experiences and my family, and Insha'Allah for my husband.
